About the author

Fraser Hogg

I work in data, architecture, and delivery leadership, usually in situations where the real problem is not just technical complexity but unclear ownership, tangled process, or teams that need better ways to work together.

My background spans software development, enterprise data architecture, consulting, and building teams around analytics and transformation work. A lot of that experience has been in energy, risk, and enterprise data environments, where clean design matters because the work is already complicated enough.

I care about clarity, sensible workflows, testable systems, and making sure people understand how their work connects to the rest of the organization. This site is where I write about that: data engineering, technical leadership, architecture, delivery, and the practical work of making systems easier to understand and teams easier to support.
